How To Make
"Von Bibber's Powder"
(An anti-fungal / Anit-yeast Treatment)
Yea....
I know..... WHAT is VonBibber's Powder? It is a substance that will get
rid of any yeast/fungal based infection, and it is made from products you
could very well have in your home right now. The following information is
provided by a Dr. Hodgson from Kennett Missouri. Dr. Hodgson is a Gynecologist,
and was disgusted in seeing doctors prescribe high dollar prescriptions
for a simple yeast infection, when VonBibber's Powder would do it. He also
found that it will cure diaper rash, and we can say from our own experience
that IT DOES. Use your own judgement, and you will find a great many uses
for this simple yet utterly effective remedy. Dr. Hodgson:
Von Bibber’s Powder
Yeast
(fungus) lives all over the skin surface, every square inch of it. Fortunately,
the skin is a natural barrier that keeps the fungus from invading below
the surface. However, if the skin is moist continuously, this natural
barrier does not hold and the fungus invades causing redness, burning,
flaking, rawness, and even skin shedding. In other words, a fungal rash.
This
can occur in the moist area between the toes (athlete’s foot), under
the breast, in the groin (jock itch), but most commonly of all...anywhere
petroleum jelly products are placed on the skin. Vaseline, campho-phenique,
Ben Gay, lip balms of every sort, mineral oil, cornhusker's oil: these
all trap in moisture and the usual result is a severe fungal infection.
Do you know anyone that constantly uses lip balm? They have severe “chapped”
dry scaly peeling lips. Right?
Those
diaper rashes are usually not due to diapers, but to the mineral oil products
and vaseline mothers rub on the baby’s behind. The folks that sell
these “gentle and soothing” products such as baby oil know
that mom is going to panic and feel inadequate when she sees a rash and
buy even more oil, never realizing that the oil is causing the rash!
What a great corporate scam. Sell a product that causes a disease, then
sell mom on the idea that what she needs is more of the product.
The
enemy of fungus is dryness. If the skin is dry, the fungus can't survive.
A time tested remedy for fighting fungal infections is Von Bibber’s
powder. Inexpensive and effective. This recipe is over 100 years old.
Von
Bibber’s Powder
1
tablespoon boric acid
2 cups cornstarch
(We accidently reversed this recipe.... 2tbsp. boric acid to 1 cup cornstarch,
and it seemed to work even better)
1. Place in a large salt shaker. Shake on any area with a fungal rash.
Makes a great gift for baby showers. Some skin rashes are severe enough
to take two weeks to heal.
2.
Lose the vaseline, lose the mineral oil, lose the petroleum based products.
NOTE:
Our experience indicates that VonBibber's Powder works great for Athlete's
Foot, also.
Treatment
of Yeast Vaginitis
There
are seven different types of yeast that live in the vagina. A yeast “infection”
is not an invasion of yeast, but an overgrowth of the natural yeast that
is there. Commercial preparations of “yeast creams” kill
only four to six types of yeast. None of them can cope with the most
common type, Torealopsis gilbrata. Both boric acid and potassium sorbate
are inexpensive alternatives that do cure all types of yeast infections.
Make
certain your symptoms are truly caused by yeast overgrowth. Yeast has
a curdy white discharge, can look the color of dried blood on the underwear,
causes itching, but never has an odor. If an odor is present, you have
an infection that is not yeast.
1.
Boric Acid
Purchase
Boric acid and “medium gelatin capsuses” from your herbalist
or pharmacist. Neither needs a prescription. Boric acid is extremely
gentle, is used in eyewash solutions for example. It is a natural occurring
mineral common in the desert southwest. It looks a little like table
sugar.
Pour
boric acid on the kitchen counter and stuff it into the capsules. Place
in a bottle labeled “not to be taken by mouth”.
When
an infection occurs, wet a capsule under the faucet, then push it deep
into the vagina. It will dissolve on its own usually. Repeat for two
or three days.
If
itching or burning is still present after four days, it is likely that
you have a different infection than yeast. See a professional for a better
diagnosis.
2.
Potassium Sorbate 3%
Douche
with this solution on two consecutive days. This compound is used as
a preservative in many commercial foods. It is also used in winemaking.
It is very safe and non-toxic and not irritating. It may be found at
an herbalist's or at some pharmacies.
3.
Acidophilus Douche
The
vagina protects itself from infections by harboring a clean type of bacteria
which inhibits the growth of harmful yeasts and non-desirable bacteria.
This bacteria is called “Doderlein's bacteria, and belongs to the
acidophilous family of bacteria, the same kind that changes milk to yogurt.
As
a general rule, women should almost never douche because this will wipe
out nature's natural protection against infections: acidophilus. Women
who use “medicated douches in particular constantly have a problem
with vaginal odors due to overgrowth of other non-natural bacteria.
Mild
cases of vaginitis can be cured by reestablishing the natural protective
bacteria:
VagiGuard:
a commercial preparation of acidophilus
Douching with cultured acidophilus milk or cultured yogurt and water.
Don’t use the grocery store varieties. They are often made with
chemicals rather than natural bacterial growth. Get the yogurt or acidophilus
from an herbalist or health food store.
