How To
Cure an Ear Ache
NOTICE:
It is not the intention of this web site to present it's advice offered
as though coming from an authoritative, trained, professional source.
While we infrequently quote authoritative sources, yet most of the site's
advice comes from untrained persons, who are sharing their experiences
of healing. While these are significant to most people, yet they don't
constitute professional advice, and we say this, not just because we
dread the FDA, but because the FDA has a legitimate role in protecting
the citizenry from private citizens masquerading as doctors. While we
think they have assumed to themselves an exaggerated role in this endeavor,
yet there is a truth in it, and in that respect we offer this candid
disclosure.
Ear
aches are a very common ailment in young children for many reasons.
While they seem a rather harmless malady, they can become very serious
under certain circumstances. Our daughter Emily got meningitis from
an ear ache.... a malady from which most people have permanent defects
if they survive. An ear ache can also be a persistent infection that
won't go away even with the most potent antibiotics. A friend once called
me whose daughter had exhausted ALL of the standard medical treatments
with no effect, and I could hear her wailing in the background. I shared
with him the method I now share with you, and I got a call from his
daughter about 2 hours later, sweetly thanking me for the info.... and
completely over her ear ache.
Take a clove of garlic and press it in a garlic press. Put the crushed
garlic in about 1-2 oz. of olive oil. (Other oil will do, but olive
oil is much better) Stir this up for a few minutes or so. Have the child.....
or adult for that matter.... lay on their side, the infected ear facing
up. Fill that ear with the garlic oil... not the garlic.... the oil.
Next get a capacious pan of hot water, and two rags. Put the rags in
the hot water, and take one at a time and place it on the ear. It should
be used as hot as the patient can stand it without burning. It should
feel too hot at first, and then the patient should acclamate. If the
patient does not acclamate, (get used to it), it is too hot. Try it
out on the soft side of your wrist. If you don't acclamate to it there,
it will feel too hot on the ear also. If its too hot, then let the rag
cool in the air a bit before putting it on. Do this for about 15-20
minutes, changing the rag every minute at the most. The idea is simple....
you must keep the ear blazing hot for that whole amount of time. IF
you do this, it will work. The relief should be felt within a couple
of minutes of the commencement of treatment, but keep it up anyay. Repeat
treatment within 4-8 hours, and repeat it at least once when there are
no symptoms.... unless the ear ache is exceptionally bad, this means
you will ususally only have to treat it twice.
The only problem you may face is the problem of your water cooling off.
If you fail to keep the ear NICE AND HOT the remedy WON'T WORK. I like
to place a towel around the pan to insulate it from heat loss, and a
lid also helps. If you have to, refill with hot water as needed. And
remember.... a heating pad WON'T WORK. You must have wet heat, and sometimes
I think the arguments against EMF's are valid. (Electro magnetic fields).
