Treating Snake Bite
With Better Results than with Antivenin

I once read an article in a Christian missions magazine about a missionary doctor, trained in the allopathic art of medicine, had the following expereince. He was accustomed in his S. American clinic to treating many snake bite victims, and on this particular morning he had several, but had run out of the standard treatment of the antivenin. Having heard and "old wive's fable" of electric shock in such cases, he decided to offer it to his patients as they were going to die anyway, and the remedy has particular credit in the vicinity. Employing this method he found it universally worked. So he called "The Lancet"... the most prestigious medical journal in the world..... and reported his expereinces, telling them that he was one of them... not the whacked out naturalists.. (who had taught it to him, lol). So they sent down two men to observe. They observed this for themselves, and actually reported it in The Lancet!!! For those who dont' know who The Lancet is, that would mean very little, but it's major news if you do. lol They also reported that they didn't know WHY it worked, but that it worked. In a subsequent issue they reported that they had tested this, and concluded that it worked because the electric shock changed the molecular structure of the venom, so as to render it harmless.

Several things need to be added. First, this remedy doesn't work on Coral snakes, or Cobras, because these have a wholly different type of venom, which attacks the central nervous system, and antivenin is the only remedy for these. Secondly, the shock ABSOLUTELY MUST be DC power... NEVER AC. Sources would be the spark plug wire on your boat or car. Just pull the wire off the plug and touch it to the bitten area, and turn over the car till you get shocked. Do it a few times. There is actually a company that retro-fits stun guns to a lower amperage/higher voltage of DC power that people in high risk occupations can buy and carry with them. They get bitten, and just pull it out, and shock themselves and move on!!! lol
